At Soteria Theological Seminary, we hold the following beliefs:
1. We believe in one God who has revealed Himself in various forms throughout history, with the ultimate manifestation being in Christ Jesus.
2. We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God. It is His perfect and complete revelation to humanity, and we can trust it in all that it reveals.
3. We believe that God is loving and just, and He hates sin. The justice and love of God were demonstrated on the Cross when Christ died, bearing the wages of sin on our behalf.
4. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, and His bodily resurrection, which He accomplished to address the problem of sin.
5. We believe that salvation is a divine act through which God restores humanity, and it is received by faith in Christ Jesus.
6. We believe in the Holy Spirit and His gifts, which are relevant for the Church even in the present day.
7. We believe that God desires to reach the unsaved world through human instruments.
8. We believe in God's concern for the whole person, encompassing spirit, soul, and body. We acknowledge His willingness to meet physical needs miraculously.
9. We believe in the unity of believers, acknowledging one Father, one Hope, one Calling, one Lord, one Spirit, one Baptism, and one Body.
These beliefs form the foundation of our theological understanding and guide our approach to education, ministry, and service in the world.
